Contribution to Indian Cricket

A batsman of the highest qualities, and a captain belligerent. Virat’s contribution to Indian cricket is enormous, isn’t it? A batsman with the highest centuries during the chase, or the first Indian to win the test series down under. And let’s not forget his contribution to bringing fitness as a dimension into Team India. That has been a major factor in in India’s consistent performance over the past few years.

Do we even need to say that he is a mass youth icon? With more than 75 million followers on Instagram, he’s the most popular Asian, let alone Indian. He hasn’t inspired people just with his game, but even with his fitness levels. He was one of the speakers of the “Fit India” dialogue, an event organized by Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi.
